it finally happened. to his credit, he resisted longer than i thought he would. over 15 years, in fact. i've known about his facination with her for years. she's mysterious and beautiful. she's hard, if not impossible to compete with. i even know her name.
truth be told, i had a hand in allowing it to happen.
he asked me if he could. can you believe it?!? he's asked before and i always said no way. but this time, i said yes...
god help me.
now i've completely lost him to zelda. you see, i let him buy a Wii gaming system and he resisted buying the lengend of zelda for about 2 weeks. then the temptation was just too much for him. she has him. and i'm afraid she'll continue to have him until he has completely conquered her.
*sigh*
it was a good run while it lasted.
at least the kids like her...

i dyed my hair today. not an uncommon occurrence. it's not even unusual for the color of my hair to change significantly every 6 weeks or so.
what makes this particular color job noteworthy?
i dyed it black.
my husband asked me to.
turned out pretty good, i think, for being out of a box.

so you wanna be my friend?
i guess as long as you don't type everything in all caps or have nothing but strippers as your friends, you're in.
does that sound arrogant? i suppose it does. i've been accused of being a bitch and the best friend ever by the same person, in the same breath, more than once.
it's a pretty decent description of me really. i'm a dichotomy in a lot of ways...
i love being articulate and i purposefully use bad grammar
i'm a goofball and completely fierce
i'm disinterested and largely empathetic
i love garlic and garlic hates me
anyhoo, if you become my friend, i'll strive to be witty and entertaining. sometimes i suceed and sometimes i'm just a nerd with a large vocabulary.
